Biography

Just a little ditty about yours truly! Patricia Helene (De Leo) Seay was born on 15 Jun 1969 in Riedböhringen, Blumberg, Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Her parents were Unknown Unknown (~1945 - ) and Mrs Sieglinde Astrid (Lange) Madison (1950 - 2010).

Patricia's daughter is Mrs Kimberly Annette (Hamilton) Kasper (1986 - living).

I was born and raised in Germany but immigrated to the US at the age of 18 in search of whom I thought was my Bio-Dad. I actually succeeded in my search back in 91' (before the awesome age of DNA testing came about) -only to find out he had passed 5 months prior, But he did bless me with a beautiful kid-sister. In 2019 we thought it be fun to take the Ancestry DNA test to maybe connect with more Family (we both grew up without) and well turns out -there was no blood relation between us. I am starting over at the age of 52 hoping to find out once again where I belong. My Tags are all related to my maternal side. My information is scarce and hard to find. I am hoping that with time it becomes easier with more people testing and Information being sourced. Meanwhile, maybe I can do my part to help others while learning to navigate this awesome site and maybe even gain some # Karma points and insight to my own Heritage and Peace of Mind.

Hi Patricia,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.

You mentioned that you are new to genealogy. No problem! We were all beginners at some point. Take your time, keep track of sources, and ask questions. Check here for tips.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'm here to help!

See you in the branches!

Mickey ~ WikiTree Greeter

PS I see that you mentioned adoption in your tags/bio. By adding your branches to our shared tree, there may be an opportunity for someone to find you!

Adoptees: How to Set Up Your Profile is a WikiTree help page specifically designed for new members who indicate they are adoptees. It is also helpful for non-adopted members who have living adoptees in their family tree. The page includes links to more resources, like our Adoption Angels Project, basic search techniques, information on DNA, etc.

There actually was no adoption, just some unshared and withheld information on my Mothers part (she passed in 2010) and Ii just have no leads or anyone to ask. I do believe that my paternal side is residing in Europe and actually not expecting much resolve in the matter. But am excited to get to research Ancestry anyway-even if its not directly related to me. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and i am looking forward to this new adventure with you all.
